AddaLab won't stay a workshop series forever. The plan is to grow this into a research lab — starting with eye-fixation and visual attention research — where today's students become tomorrow's collaborators.
From the Founder
I'm Sharmi Islam. I hold a Master's in Data Science from HSE University in Moscow, and my research background is in AI, NLP, and eye-tracking — the same direction I'm growing AddaLab into as a full research lab.
When you join a cohort, you're learning directly from that background — no teaching assistants, no hand-offs between instructors. I review your work, answer your questions, and know your name by the second session. That's not a limitation of being early-stage. That's the entire point.
